The Facilities and Planning Department of Portland State University contracts millions of dollars annually for new construction projects, improvements to existing buildings, and standard maintenance. As stewards of a sprawling, expanding metropolitan university our department is on a constant lookout for the best contractors and professional consultants to provide the services we need to keep Portland State University in good shape and growing.


Portland State University Facilities and Planning Contracts Office coordinates all contracts between Facilities & Planning and outside Contractors & Consultants as well as coordinating Service Providers contracts with the Business Affairs Office and facilitating interagency agreements.


Our mission is to ensure all contracts with Portland State University Facilities and Planning are fully in compliance with Portland State University, Oregon University System, Oregon State and Federal regulations and requirements. We also work to ensure all contract bidders wishing to work for Portland State University receive equitable treatment, a fair chance to bid competitively and that all contracts are awarded based on the merit of the proposal.
