The Simon Benson House  is a 100-year-old Queen Anne style residence, built by lumber baron Simon Benson.  The structure was moved from SW 11th and Clay to its current location at SW Park and Montgomery.  "The Friends of Simon Benson House," a nonprofit group of citizens and companies, donated services and materials to rehabilitate the house. 

The first floor of the Simon Benson House is used for University and Community functions.  PSU's Office of Alumni Relations is located on the second floor.
