Science One stands on the south half of the block between SW Tenth, Market and Eleventh, and the SW Mill right-of-way. It has six floors, a mezzanine between the first and second and two basement levels. An accessible, covered pedestrian skybridge connects the second floor of Science One to the second floor of Science Two. Wheelchair access is from 11th Avenue; see physical access notes and site plan link below. Science One contains science classrooms, offices and laboratories. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the building, which was constructed in 1964-1965. |
