To prepare campus mail, please clearly indicate both the name of the person and department to which it is to be delivered and the person and department from which it is being sent. To help ensure prompt delivery, please use the university mail codes located in the back of the Faculty and Staff Directory.
The state mail shuttle service delivers interagency mail to university campuses and government offices throughout the state. The service is provided at no charge. Shuttle mail picked up by mail services is delivered to the shuttle hub twice daily.
To prepare shuttle mail, please clearly write or stamp “SHUTTLE” on the letter or package and the campus or office to which it is to be delivered.
Campus Mail - Distributions
Department newsletters, memos, and event announcements can be distributed through mail services. When preparing distributions please indicate if you would like a copy delivered to faculty members only, faculty and staff, or if you would simply like a single copy delivered to each department. When estimating the number of copies you should make we suggest providing 1,500 for faculty and 900 for staff. Mail services delivers to 138 different offices. You may call us at 725-4920 for the latest faculty and staff numbers.
We will make every effort to process your distribution promptly, but distributions take time. Please allow 1-2 days for your distribution to be disseminated, or let us know that the material is time sensitive and requires our immediate attention.
